Before the launch of our feature project 1986, Mouayed Film had already achieved remarkable international acclaim with its anthology series “Takhareef”, which earned over 160 international awards from prestigious festivals around the world.
Highlights include honors from WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival — one of the oldest and most respected festivals in the United States — and the Bushwick Film Festival in New York, celebrated for its strong focus on independent and boundary-pushing cinema.
This recognition opened doors to global distribution, with the series being acquired by Amazon Prime UK and featured in the platform’s main subscriber section.
